Printer Cartridge Collection & Recycling Service for businesses
Did you know that each year in Australia over 11 million ink and 3 million laser cartridges are imported in Australia. Approximately 80% of these cartridges are destined to end up as landfill, leaching chemicals and taking many hundreds of years to break down.
In conjunction with Eccosave, LaserFast is pleased to be able to provide your business with a Printer Cartridge collections and recycling service.
Eccosave is a cartridge collection program established to divert the disposal of these empty cartridges from landfill.
There are no costs to your business to participate in this recycling program, and getting involved is easy, simply call Eccosave on 1300 058 044 or email collections@eccosave.com.au.
Eccosave will send a collection bin to your business premises. Then when it is full, simply call them they'll organise it to be collected along with the delivery of a replacement bin.
The cartridges collected are then sorted and where possible components are re-used, this saves precious resources otherwise consumed by the creation of new cartridges. If they are not suitable for re-use they are recycled, this prevents them from ending up as landfill.
